PROHIBITED ITEMS

CHRISTMAS-GUIDE

WATCH OUT FOR PROHIBITED ITEMS IN YOUR SHIPMENT

Christmas time is gift time. Grandma's favourite perfume or your nephew's remote-controlled car should be under the Christmas tree by time. But when it comes to ship them to your loved ones, you have to be careful!
Many everyday items, such as smartphones, perfumes and aftershaves are considered dangerous goods under transport legislation.

To comply with national and international regulations on cargo transport we restrict or prohibit certain items from our network.

You are responsible for checking whether or not an item is prohibited or restricted.

Consumer warning markings
Products bearing the following consumer warning symbols are likely to be dangerous goods and are prohibited unless specifically permitted.
If you see these symbols you can check against the Safety Sheet of the product if the goods are classified as dangerous goods. This information can in most cases be found in Section 14.

Private individuals are not allowed to ship dangerous goods.
So if you want to ship your loved ones a gift far from home, remember to avoid these items.
