American Airlines AAdvantage® Miles Promotion for DHL Express Multi-Channel Customers - Americas Region
THIS PROMOTION IS NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
A. PROMOTION OVERVIEW. The American Airlines AAdvantage® Miles Promotion (the “Promotion”) for DHL Express is by invitation only and is sponsored and administered by DHL Regional Services, Inc. (“Sponsor”). Sponsor is offering eligible DHL Express Customers ("Participants") who are the intended recipient of an invitation to participate in the Promotion (the “Invitation”) and who meet the eligibility requirements set forth below (each, an “Eligible Participant”) the opportunity to earn One Thousand (1,000) American Airlines AAdvantage® miles for every purchase of a “Participating Product” (as defined below) made between August 27, 2012 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) and March 31, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. EST (the “Promotion Period”). Eligible Participants may earn up to a maximum of Forty Thousand (40,000) AAdvantage® miles. “Participating Products” are: any billed international delivery shipments of DHL EXPRESS 9:00, DHL EXPRESS 10:30, DHL EXPRESS 12:00, DHL EXPRESS WORLDWIDE and DHL IMPORT EXPRESS. All shipments are subject to DHL Express standard Terms and Conditions of carriage that can be found at www.DHL.com. Only one (1) Eligible Participant person will be awarded per company. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to the terms outlined herein and to all decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
B. ELIGIBILITY. The Promotion is open to Eligible Participants who are legal residents of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, the Caribbean (Anguilla, Antigua, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Belize, Bonaire, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Curacao, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Montserrat, Nevis, St. Maarten, St. Barthelemy, St. Kitts, St. Eustatius, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Surinam, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks & Caicos and Haiti), Canada Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru or Uruguay (each, a “Country”) who have reached the age of majority in their Country at the time of enrollment.
Officers, directors and employees of Sponsor, American Airlines, Inc., and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries and agents, and any agencies or other companies involved in the development or execution of the Promotion or production or distribution of Promotion materials, as well as the immediate family members (parents, siblings, children and spouse) and household members of each are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. Void where prohibited by law.
In order to participate in the Promotion, Eligible Participants must not have outstanding unpaid invoices with the Sponsor.
C. REWARDS ALLOCATION AND REDEMPTION. The AAdvantage® miles will accumulate during the Promotion Period and will be posted to the AAdvantage® member’s account specified at the beginning of the Promotion, on a monthly basis on the following dates: November 15, 2012, December 15, 2012, January 15, 2013, February 15, 2013, March 15, 2013, April 15, 2013, May 15, 2013, June 15, 2013, July 15, 2013, August 15, 2013, September 15, 2013, October 15, 2013, November 15, 2013, December 15, 2013, January 15, 2014, February 15, 2014, March 15, 2014 and April 15, 2014. Please allow 2-4 weeks after these dates for the AAdvantage® miles to appear in the AAdvantage® member’s account. Participants who are not AAdvantage® members may join at no cost online at www.aa.com/aadvantage or by calling the AAdvantage® membership desk at 1-800-882-8880.
American Airlines reserves the right to change AAdvantage® program rules, regulations, travel awards and offers at any time without notice, and to end the AAdvantage® program upon six (6) months’ notice. Any such changes may affect your ability to use the awards or mileage credits that you have accumulated. Unless specified, AAdvantage® miles earned through this Promotion/offer do not count toward elite-status qualification or Million MilerSM status. American Airlines is not responsible for products or services offered by other participating companies.
The AAdvantage® is governed by the AAdvantage® Terms and Conditions, which are located at www.aa.com/aadvantage.
D. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. The Sponsor shall have no responsibility for any damage to a Participant’s computer system that is directly or indirectly caused by participating in the Promotion, or for any computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures, dropped or delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Sponsor reserves the right, without prior notice and at any time, to terminate the Promotion, in whole or in part, or modify or suspend the Promotion in any way, if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Promotion is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions have destroyed or severely undermined the integrity and/or feasibility of the Promotion. If the Promotion is terminated, in whole or in part, before the designated end date, Sponsor will continue to honor miles earned on all qualifying, non-suspect shipments made prior to the termination date.
